Silver Star is a name that has popped up a lot here on PreviouslyViewed and on various MMA blogs and websites around the world. They sponsor a number of the top-level fighters in MMA today and have released some of the most popular products out there, including their line of excellent signature shirts.

However, Silver Star has taken their game to the next level with the release of MMA fight gloves. I recently published a press release sent to me by Silver Star. To read up on the gloves, head over to the release on Pro MMA Now.

My product review of Brandon Quick's "Chokes" app for the iPhone

From time to time I have the opportunity to review some great products from generous companies like BudoVideos and Victory Belt.

Normally the products I review are instructional books or DVDs, but recently I had the opportunity to review something new - an iPhone application on chokes from my friend Brandon "Never Quit" Quick.

It's a great product and has potential for some excellent application - it's also a very cost-effective training supplement for anyone that trains BJJ or MMA.

Head over to Pro MMA Now to check out my review.

Take a look at iTunes to purchase Chokes. At just $2.99 (plus tax), it's a steal.

Enjoy.

Kentucky Fighter Chad Corvin Signs With UFC

Although it is no longer breaking news, this is something worth checking out in case you haven't seen it yet. Kentucky fighter Chad Corvin has signed a contract with the UFC. Chad spoke exclusively to me for a release I originally published on Pro MMA Now.

Readers of PreviouslyViewed should be familiar with Chad as I was able to complete some interviews with him before and after his last fight with the Florida-based XFC.

Head over to Pro MMA Now to check out what Chad and his trainer had to say about Chad signing with the UFC and what kind of effect he'll have on the UFC heavyweight division. The post also includes a video of one of Chad's recent fights with Rico Hattingh. Don't blink, it doesn't last long.

Enjoy.
