ICF Promoter Steve Stanton exclusively informed me today of more details on the April 11th show at U.S. Bank Arena - ICF: Breakout.
Check after the jump for information on which former UFC fighter has been added to the card as well as two special guests that will be making appearances.
Stanton informed me that former UFC fighter Forrest Petz has been added to the card. UFC viewers last saw Petz defeated by Josh Burkman at UFC 77, also hosted at U.S. Bank Arena. Petz has gone 1-1 since leaving the UFC. An opponent for Petz is being finalized.
Additionally, Stanton stated that as an added bonus for all the fans who come out to ICF: Breakout at U. S. Bank Arena on April 11th, former UFC Middleweight Champion and current Light Heavyweight competitor Rich Franklin and former UFC Lightweight Champion and current WEC Featherweight competitor Jens "Lil Evil" Pulver will both be on hand to sign autographs and meet with the fans.
Breakout is continually shaping up to be a great event. In addition to the former UFC fighters scheduled to fight, FightTicker.com members Chad Hinton (aka Hitman - although Chad has since changed his nickname to "The H-Bomb"), Jeremy Pender (aka Pender), George Oiler (aka nofee), and Chris Curtis (aka TheActionMan513) are all fighting on the card as well. Pender and Oiler will both be making their pro debuts.
I'm really looking forward to the event - I'll be there live blogging. The ICF's next event, ICF: TurfwaR is coming up this Saturday at Turfway Park in Florence, KY. I'll be there live blogging as well.
